What is a skills lab?! I’ve never heard of them before!
Well, friend I am so glad you asked! Think of these skills labs as a small-scale workshop covering a specific topic (in-depth), a place where your questions will be addressed by the expert speaker/instructor, add some networking with kick ass local business owners like you, and then add pizza + drinks! BOOM! Skills Labs! Also, you probably haven’t heard of them because they were the brain child of my husband and I 😉
Who all can attend a skills lab?
Everyone! They are geared towards the creative entrepreneur but can benefit ANY business owner. The best part about these skills labs is you decide which one(s) you want to attend, the only information you learn is info that applies to you and your business unlike other conferences or even webinars that cover a medley of topics that are *sometimes* beneficial to your biz.
Okay, so I am beyond in love with this concept but what’s the catch? Is it hella expensive or something?!
The majority of the skills labs are priced at $75 with no tricky add-ons. There will be a few that are priced at a higher price point (out of town speakers) but you will ALWAYS be in the loop for pricing.
Why do I need to pay to come to these? I’ve seen so many free networking events.
That’s a fair and totally valid question! I see so much value in those free networking events and I, myself go to nearly all of them to meet badass entrepreneurs. The skills labs are not free for 2 reasons: I pay the instructors and 2. this is what I do for a living – business coaching.
Can I purchase just one ticket at a time or do I have to purchase multiple and get locked into some type of contract?
Friend, stop over thinking everything first of all! Second, purchase one ticket at a time or multiple – nothing is on auto-pay, I send out invoices individually. After you purchase 3 skills labs tickets you get the 4th free, you do NOT have to purchase them all at once. *If you want to get an extra great deal you CAN purchase a bundle of 5 to use within one calendar year and save $112.50 total but you do not have to do this, it’s just an option!

Twice per month, dates are determined by YOU and the rest of the creative community – join the FB group to help choose the dates/times and topics for future skills labs! Also, there is a calendar of events at the top of the page for skills labs that are already planned.
