Hey besties, here’s a little week 4 recap – mostly financials and logistical stuff because you can so easily google pretty pictures and find cute cafes on google maps. This is the shit people don’t breakdown! Click here to see Week 3 (Sept 27-Oct 3, 2024) I track all of our expenses through Travel Spend (an app) – I have been doing this for almost 2 years now and love using it. It’s also super inexpensive for the yearly app fee.
Let me make a quick disclaimer! We are NOT budget travelers and the below numbers are for TWO adults who prioritize convenience and experiences. We keep our big costs pretty low and splurge on good food, good ๐ (legal here) and experiences/activities! I make at least 3/4 of our meals at home because 1. I like to cook and 2. convenience sake – it’s quicker for me to cook what I want to eat than wait 30-40 min for delivery.
Week 4:
October 4th-10th, 2024
Hi, I did it. Our daily average for spending went down (finally). Yay! Tbh this week we ate out and ordered in a ton, I just wasn’t really feeling cooking. We took a car to our fave dispensary and back home to attend a DJ showcase thing for my mans vs driving the scooter so that added to the cost as well as eating Korean food literally 3x in 7 days (no regrets bby)! This week was the Vegetarian Festival in Phuket and it was chaotic to say the least, we had tons of fun and experienced a lot of firsts during the festival. We also went to the night market near us, it was wild. Super touristy and packed, probs won’t be back
