DO YOU SHARE THE IMAGES FROM OUR SESSION?
Nope, never ever unless you sign a model release agreement! You don’t just have to take my word for it, in our photography agreement I require clients to sign before our session – it spells out alllll the things INCLUDING that I don’t share your images anywhere, not even in person, with anyone! That can be found in the confirmation email I send over.
SO, UHM. LET’S TALK MONEY. CAN I PAY A LITTLE BIT ALONG OR EVEN PAY OFF THE BALANCE AFTER MY SESSION??
Yes, you absolutely can! I am flexible – the majority of my clients send payments in the months/weeks leading up to their session so they aren’t stuck with a large bill at once so that totally works for me! If you want to pay your balance off AFTER your session that’s also fine, just know your images will not be sent over until after your balance is paid in full and there’s an additional fee added onto this to help keep you accountable. You will have a maximum of 6 months from the day of your session to pay your remaining balance (this requires a contract, of course).
DO I HAVE TO PAY A DEPOSIT/RETAINER? IF SO, HOW MUCH IS IT?
Yes, I do require a retainer upon booking – your session is NOT confirmed without this payment. Your retainer is deducted from your package cost, it’s not an additional fee. The retainer is non-refundable and nontransferable for cancellations but I do make exceptions, aka if you need to reschedule it’s possible but there are stipulations. If you request a reschedule more than 2 weeks before your session I might be able to accommodate, it will need to be within a certain time frame (same calendar year), and limited to ONE reschedule. 50% of the total cost of your session including sales tax is required to secure your date/time.
WHERE DO I GO FOR MY BOUDOIR SESSION?
If you’re in Kentucky, we will use my insanely fabulous 650 square foot studio in downtown Versailles! It has amazing natural light, beautiful dark wood floors, and tons of sass until end of August 2024 or an airbnb that allows for commercial photography! If you’re in North Carolina or Tennessee we will utilize my fave suite at a hotel I use regularly in Charlotte or Airbnb that allows for commercial photography – you’ll see photos of the spaces on my KY or NC pages.
WHAT IF I HAVE TO CANCEL/RESCHEDULE?
Rescheduling is a pain in the ass, there, I said it! I get it though, life happens… If we need to reschedule I will TRY to accommodate your schedule but there are no guarantees as my boudoir openings fill up quickly. If you cancel or no show, your retainer is forfeited and will need to be paid AGAIN if you choose to book with me in the future. Please make doubly sure that you can make the date/time you select or you forfeit your 50% retainer. There are very few exceptions to this policy, just reach out if anything changes!
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO RECEIVE OUR GALLERY?
Up to 3 BUSINESS weeks (21 business days) – all images are edited in color and black + white for all sessions. AKA Monday-Friday (5 biz days), just like most businesses even though I work for myself and see clients on the weekends/holidays, I’m not doing admin work like editing, emails, etc on the weekends/holidays. Work/life balance, ya know?
SHOULD I GET A SPRAY TAN?
If you regularly get spray tans then hell yeah, live your best life! Do NOT come to your session with a fresh spray tan that will ruin my linens plz + ty. If you have never gotten one before I don’t recommend it. If you have weird streaks, orange hands/feet, or badly blended areas – these are NOT things I edit out so keep that in mind. It’s the same with tan lines from the sun – they’ll be blended slightly but not fully. Scratches, bruises, marks, butt pimples, etc will be edited out fully though!
DO YOU SUGGEST I GET A… YA KNOW… WAX?
If you regularly get waxed then, yes. If not, now is NOT the time to experiement! Razor bumps suck but are not going to be seen in your photos through strategic posing AND editing.
DO I BRING MY OWN OUTFITS OR DO YOU PROVIDE THEM?
You are responsible for providing your outfits BUT bestie, I’m obviously not letting you fly blind. I will send you my fave amazon pieces that are affordable and photograph beautifully and my Pinterest board to help you narrow down things you have in your own house!
CAN YOU EDIT OUT *insert whatever your biggest worry is regarding your body here*?
Soooo, fun fact: I’m pretty fucking fantastic at posing ALL bodies soooo rest assured that I gotchu babe. Also humble, I’m also obviously very humble. 😉 Body modifications like adding a lil somthin’ extra to your chest or booty cheeks or doing insane skin smoothing are definitely not something I offer because I’m THAT good at posing and utilizing/creating kick ass lighting situations. I give cheeks to the cheekless and cleavage to the cleavageless! I’ll make sure posing is perfect from the top of your head to your toes! Alsooooo, I show my clients the back of my camera – literally EVERY. SINGLE. SHOT. before they change outfits so you can see the magic we’re currently creating vs waiting for the final gallery to be edited. You’ll see how insanely fabulous the shots are straight out of camera before any type of editing and your mind will be put at ease. I guarantee it, seriously. Ya girl has been doing this for 10 years and I’ve worked with thousands of amazing humans of all different body types, ages, etc. I will remove anything that’s temporary: pimples, bruises, and scratches – I’ll also ask you if you have any birthmarks, freckles that might look like a butt pimple, or scars that you want left in/out during your session. Your skin will be gently smoothed and you’ll obviously look like the baddest bitch in the world, because, duh you are.
